In the Community

We believe fitness is more fun with a crew. From local events to grassroots fundraisers, we show up for the Eastern Panhandle.

Our Signature Charity Event

Night of the Living Deadlift

The purpose of Night of the Living Deadlift is simple: unite a community of individuals and local businesses around a common cause — helping our local animal shelter while having a great time. Every dollar of profit is donated to the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County.

Deadlifting is an essential human movement — we should all be able to lift from the ground, whether it's a child, a pet, a grocery run, a laundry load, or a heavy barbell. Participants enter three deadlift attempts to compete on a rolling schedule. Heavy weights and PRs are encouraged but never required — this is all for fun and community. (It's not a sanctioned powerlifting meet!)

NOLD 2026 is set for Saturday, October 17 — time TBA. Food trucks Mama K’s and Simply Smoothie will be on site.

  • All profits donated to the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County
  • Grand prize + runner-up prizes for adult men and women
  • Youth category winners receive a free recovery session
  • A supportive, high-energy atmosphere — spectators, friends & family welcome
  • Thank you to our 2026 sponsors: True Performance Fitness · Top Gun Sealcoating · Vintage Iron · Steve Scalia – Like A Pro Supplements · Paul Crone
